Solid state physics
We carry out research on current problems of solid state physics, reaching from ground states and
excitations of quantum matter to the synthesis of nanoscale materials and their properties. Our main
experimental methods are transport experiments, high-resolution scanning tunneling spectroscopy,
and novel x-ray-based techniques.
